Which TV cameras are usable in IQ EasyMeasure ® systems?

You can use all TV cameras at the supported frame grabbers FG1 and FG2 and at the Video to FireWire-Converter FW1 with
- European TV standard (625 Rows/50 Hz, horizontal frequenz 15,625 KHz).
- Colour cameras following the PAL-Codec standard
- with BNC- or Y/C-Interface

Black white cameras have accordingly to standard at least a BNC video exit at which the video signal (BAS or VBS) is distributed. By means of BNC cable and a BNC-Cinch adapter these cameras are directly connectable at the ports 1 and 2 of the FG1 or the FW1.

Farb cameras have accordingly to standard at least a BNC video exit at which the Farb video signal (FBAS or CVBS) is distributed. By means of BNC cable and a BNC-Cinch adapter these cameras are directly connectable at the ports 1 and 2 of the FG1 or the FW1.
The use of a Y/C interfaces is, however, fundamentally better for the connection at the port 3 of the FG1 or FW1.

Many industry cameras have a 12-pole Hirose interface, about that one of both the CVBS and the Y/C signal you distribute. The power supply of the camera (DC 12 V) can be realized about this interface at the same time, too. Cameras with Hirose interface are optimal at the FG2 connectable.

How many FireWire cameras CC6 or CC7 can I use at an IQ EasyMeasure ® system?

Only one FireWire camera CC6 or CC7 is in the current version 1.3.0 usable at one system. The use of up to 4 cameras CC6 or CC7 becomes in a future release of IQ EasyMeasure ® being implemented.
