The Powershot G2 - Highest Resolution, Low Price, Optimal Integration.
The G2 with its very high resolution of more than 4 million pixels fulfils many user requirements towards a low-priced digital camera of highest resolution.
High-quality optical-mechanical adaptions for the G2 are available for Zeiss microscopes (see Microscope Accessories).
Using the Remote Control Option RMC-G2 within IQ EasyMeasureŽ, you have an optimum solution for the use of the camera at the microscope or macro station.
The camera has to be connected to the PC via a USB 1.1 interface. Thus, the transfer of a high-resolution live preview image is not possible. Therefore, the use of the G2 is focused on static samples.
Meanwhile, the camera has been superseded by its successor G3.
