The Powershot G3 - Highest Resolution, Low Price, Optimal Integration.
The G3 is the successor to the Powershot G2 and fulfils with its very high resolution of more than 4 million pixels many user requirements towards a low-priced digital camera of highest resolution.
High-quality optical-mechanical adaptions for the G3 are available for Zeiss microscopes (see Microscope Accessories).
Using the Remote Control Option RMC-G2 within IQ EasyMeasureŽ, you have an optimum solution for the use of the cameras G2 and G3 at the microscope or macro station.
The camera has to be connected to the PC via a USB 1.1 interface. Thus, the transfer of a high-resolution live preview image is not possible. Therefore, the use of the G3 is focused on static samples.
