The Powershot G5 - The Queen of the Canon Powershot G-Series.
The G5 is the successor to the Powershot G3 and with the exception of the new sensor of 5 Mio. pixels it is identical in construction to the G3. You can immediately distinguish the G5 from the G3 by its black casing.
High-quality optical-mechanical adaptions for the G5 are available for Zeiss microscopes (see Microscope Accessories).
Using the Remote Control Option RMC-G2 within IQ EasyMeasureŽ, you have an optimum solution for the use of the cameras G2, G3 and G5 at the microscope or macro station.
The camera has to be connected to the PC via a USB 1.1 interface. Thus, the transfer of a high-resolution live preview image is not possible. Therefore, the use of the G5 is focused on static samples.
