FW1 - The optimal solution for TV cameras at FireWire
interfaces.
The FW1 is the optimal solution for the integration of TV-cameras with CVBS-
and Y/C-Interface at FireWire(IEEE-1394a)-Ports. Thus, it is very easy to
connect TV-cameras to notebooks in order to realize mobile IQ EasyMeasureŽ systems.
Of cource, you may also connect TV-cameras to stationary PC systems via FireWire
ports without opening the PC case.
Up to 3 cameras are supported by an IQ EasyMeasureŽ system with FG1. Using FW1,
you have to ensure in each case the power supply of the cameras by separate
camera power supply units.
Particularly for the use of notebooks, special packages have been developed
that enable the power supply and the video signal connection of camera and
FW1 at minimum expenses (only 1 power supply unit and 1 system cable). Also

The FW1 solution is based on the Video-to-FireWire-Adaptor DFG/1394-1
by TheImagingSorce.

Supported TV Standards:
On all TV frame grabbers FG1, FG2 and FW1, IQ EasyMeasureŽ exclusively supports
the European PAL standard with 625 lines / 50 Hz interlaced.
NTSC input is not supported.
